scientific career

She graduated with an MA in Psychology with specialization in clinical neuropsychology and psychotherapy (University of Warsaw). During her Erasmus+ exchange she visited Maastricht University. She conducted group and individual neuropsychological rehabilitation, she was also a cotherapist in the Academic Psychotherapy Center. Her master’s thesis was about interoception and the perception of pain in borderline personality disorder. She also assisted in a research project investigating the links between interoception and personality.

In 2018 she started an academic training in the Institute of Psychology, Polish Academy of Sciences, where she helped in conducting research of social cognition in schizophrenia (funded by National Science Center of Poland, Sonata grant 2016/23/D/HS6/02947).

Student of Doctoral School of IP PAS since October 2019.

scientific interests

In her own research project (funded by National Science Center, Preludium grant 2018/31/N/HS6/03757) she investigates neural correlates of social cognition disorders in autism spectrum disorder.

additional information

Her articles popularizing science can be found on neuropsychologia.org website. Since 2014 she is involved with Social Innovations Association ‘Mary i Max’, which work is aimed at supporting youth and adults with autism spectrum disorder.

In her free time she reads, practices yoga, listens to podcasts and wanders across the Warsaw district of Żoliborz with her adopted dachshund (not necessarily at the same time).
